Sons of God and Daughters of Mankind
6 When mankind began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God(A) saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful, and they took any they chose as wives for themselves.(B) 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit will not remain[a] with[b] mankind forever,(C) because they are corrupt.[c](D) Their days will be 120 years.”

6 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth(A) and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God(B) saw that the daughters(C) of humans were beautiful,(D) and they married(E) any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit(F) will not contend with[a] humans forever,(G) for they are mortal[b];(H) their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
