⁵ The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,^(A) and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.^(B)

⁷ And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark^(A) to escape the waters of the flood.

³⁷ As it was in the days of Noah,^(A) so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

³ While people are saying, “Peace and safety,”^(A) destruction will come on them suddenly,^(B) as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.^(C)
