6 the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth,(A) and He was grieved in His heart. 7 Then the Lord said, “I will wipe off from the face of the earth mankind, whom I created, together with the animals, creatures that crawl, and birds of the sky—for I regret that I made them.” 8 Noah, however, found favor in the sight of the Lord.(B)

6 The Lord regretted(A) that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth(B) the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.(C)” 8 But Noah(D) found favor in the eyes of the Lord.(E)
