The Generations of Noah

⁹ These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a ^(A)righteous man, ^[a](B)blameless among those in his generations; Noah ^(C)walked with God.

¹⁴ even ^(A)though these three men, ^(B)Noah, ^(C)Daniel, and ^(D)Job were in its midst, by their own righteousness they could only deliver ^(E)themselves,” declares Lord Yahweh.

²⁰ even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in its midst, as I live,” declares Lord Yahweh, “they could not deliver either their son or their daughter. They would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.”

¹³ For ^(A)the promise to Abraham or to his seed ^(B)that he would be heir of the world was not ^[a]through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

^30 (A)What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, laid hold of righteousness, even ^(B)the righteousness which is ^[a]by faith;
