Entering the Ark

Then the Lord said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation.(A) You are to take with you seven pairs, a male and its female, of all the clean animals,(B) and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and its female, and seven pairs, male and female, of the birds of the sky—in order to keep offspring alive throughout the earth.

The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family,(A) because I have found you righteous(B) in this generation. Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean(C) animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive(D) throughout the earth.
