Genesis 7:20-22

20 The mountains were covered as the water surged above them more than twenty feet.[a] 21 Every creature perished—those that crawl on the earth, birds, livestock, wildlife, and those that swarm on the earth, as well as all mankind. 22 Everything with the breath of the spirit of life in its nostrils(A)—everything on dry land died.

New International Version
20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (A) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(B) 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(C) in its nostrils died.
