20 The waters swelled fifteen cubits higher than the submerged mountains. 21 All creatures that moved on earth perished: birds, tame animals, wild animals, and all that teemed on the earth, as well as all humankind.(A) 22 Everything on dry land with the breath of life in its nostrils died.

New International Version
20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (A) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(B) 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(C) in its nostrils died.
