20 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. 21 (A)And all flesh died that moved on [a]the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22 All in (B)whose nostrils was the breath [b]of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.

20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (A) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(B) 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(C) in its nostrils died.
