20 rising more than twenty-two feet[a] above the highest peaks. 21 All the living things on earth died—birds, domestic animals, wild animals, small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people. 22 Everything that breathed and lived on dry land died.

20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (A) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(B) 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(C) in its nostrils died.
