Genesis 9:25-27

25 he said:

Canaan will be cursed.(A)
He will be the lowest of slaves to his brothers.(B)

26 He also said:

Praise the Lord, the God of Shem;
Canaan will be[a] his slave.
27 God will extend[b] Japheth;
he will dwell in the tents of Shem;
Canaan will be his slave.

New International Version

25 he said,

“Cursed(A) be Canaan!(B)
    The lowest of slaves
    will he be to his brothers.(C)”

26 He also said,

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem!(D)
    May Canaan be the slave(E) of Shem.
27 May God extend Japheth’s[a] territory;(F)
    may Japheth live in the tents of Shem,(G)
    and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
