²⁴ So Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised.

⁸ I will give to you and to your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger [moving from place to place], all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession [of property]; and I will be their God.”^(A)

³⁴ And Abraham lived [as a resident alien] in the land of the Philistines for ^[a]many days.

¹⁹ So Abraham returned to his servants, and they got up and went with him to Beersheba; and Abraham settled in Beersheba.
