⁶ I will make you very fruitful;^(A) I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.^(B)

⁷ but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers^(A) and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

¹⁰ The Lord your God has increased^(A) your numbers^(B) so that today you are as numerous^(C) as the stars in the sky.^(D)

¹⁷ and none of the condemned things^[a] are to be found in your hands. Then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger,^(A) will show you mercy,^(B) and will have compassion^(C) on you. He will increase your numbers,^(D) as he promised^(E) on oath to your ancestors—

⁵ He will bring^(A) you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous^(B) than your ancestors.
