Lot and His Daughters

³⁰ Lot and his two daughters left Zoar^(A) and settled in the mountains,^(B) for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.

¹⁶ She said to them, “Go to the hills^(A) so the pursuers^(B) will not find you. Hide yourselves there three days^(C) until they return, and then go on your way.”^(D)
