⁷ The Lord, the God of heaven,^(A) who took me from my father’s house and from my native land,^(B) who spoke to me and swore to me, ‘I will give this land to your offspring’^(C)—He will send His angel before you,^(D) and you can take a wife for my son from there.

²⁴ When Joseph got up from sleeping, he did as the Lord’s angel had commanded him. He married her^(A)
