28 “Your name will no longer be Jacob,”(A) He said. “It will be Israel[a] because you have struggled with God(B) and with men and have prevailed.”
10 God said to him:
Your name is Jacob;you will no longer be named Jacob,but your name will be Israel.(A)
So He named him Israel.
