¹⁰ The ^(A)scepter shall not depart from Judah,
    nor the ruler's staff ^(B)from between his feet,
until tribute comes to him;^[a]
    and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

⁵ The Lord has broken the ^(A)staff of the wicked,
    the ^(B)scepter of rulers,

^17 (A)Grieve for him, all you who are around him,
    and all who know his name;
say, ^(B)‘How the mighty scepter is broken,
    the glorious staff.’
