¹⁰ When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, ^(A)they lamented there with a very great and grievous lamentation, and he ^(B)made a mourning for his father for seven days.

²⁹ And when all the congregation saw that Aaron had perished, ^(A)all the house of Israel wept for Aaron for thirty days.

⁸ And the people of Israel ^(A)wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

¹³ And they took their bones ^(A)and buried them under ^(B)the tamarisk tree in Jabesh and ^(C)fasted for seven days.

¹³ And they sat with him on the ground ^(A)seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great.
