4 (A)So the law is paralysed,
and justice never goes forth.
(B)For the wicked surround the righteous;
so justice goes forth perverted.
The Lord's Answer
5 (C)“Look among the nations, and see;
wonder and be astounded.
(D)For I am doing a work in your days
that you would not believe if told.
6 For behold, (E)I am raising up the Chaldeans,
that bitter and hasty nation,
(F)who march through the breadth of the earth,
(G)to seize dwellings not their own.

For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,

that ruthless and impetuous people,
who sweep across the whole earth(G)
