14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.
15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, to thee that [a]addest thy [b]venom, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness! 16 Thou art filled with shame, and not glory: drink thou also, and [c]be as one uncircumcised; the cup of Jehovah’s right hand shall come round unto thee, and foul shame shall be upon thy glory.

14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory(A) of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.(B)
15 “Woe to him who gives drink(C) to his neighbors,
pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk,
so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
16 You will be filled with shame(D) instead of glory.(E)
Now it is your turn! Drink(F) and let your nakedness be exposed[a]!(G)
The cup(H) from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you,
and disgrace will cover your glory.
