⁸Son^(A) though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered^(B)

⁸Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

⁹Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”^(A) He sets aside the first to establish the second.

⁹Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
