    So then I said,
    Look, I’ve come to do your will, God.
    This has been written about me in the scroll.[a]

He says above, You didn’t want and you weren’t pleased with a sacrifice or an offering or with entirely burned offerings or a purification offering,[b] which are offered because the Law requires them. Then he said, Look, I’ve come to do your will.[c] He puts an end to the first to establish the second.

First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”(C)—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”(D) He sets aside the first to establish the second.
