⁴God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.

⁵For God hath not subjected unto angels the world to come, whereof we speak.

⁶But one in a certain place hath testified, saying: What is man, that thou art mindful of him: or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁴God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,^(A) and by gifts of the Holy Spirit^(B) distributed according to his will.^(C)

⁵It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. ⁶But there is a place where someone^(D) has testified:

“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
a son of man that you care for him?^(E)
