⁴God bearing witness to it both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will)?

⁵For He has not put the world to come (whereof we speak) in subjection to the angels.

⁶But one in a certain place witnessed, saying, “What is man that You should be mindful of him; or the son of man that You would consider him?

⁴God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,^(A) and by gifts of the Holy Spirit^(B) distributed according to his will.^(C)

⁵It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. ⁶But there is a place where someone^(D) has testified:

“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
a son of man that you care for him?^(E)
