⁴for somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this way:

And on the seventh day

⁴For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”^[a]^(A)

¹³Then I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write: The dead who die in the Lord from now on are blessed.”^(A)

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “let them rest from their labors, for their works follow them!”

¹³Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord^(A) from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit,^(B) “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
