Hebrews 7:24-26

24 but he, because he continues forever[a], holds the priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore also he is able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, because he[b] always lives in order to intercede on their behalf.
26 For a high priest such as this indeed is fitting for us, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and having become exalted above the heavens,

New International Version
24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.(A) 25 Therefore he is able to save(B) completely[a] those who come to God(C) through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.(D)
26 Such a high priest(E) truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,(F) exalted above the heavens.(G)
