5 (A)And over the Ark were the glorious Cherubims, shadowing the [a]mercy seat: of which things we will not now speak particularly.
6 [b]Now when these things were thus ordained, the Priest went always into the first Tabernacle, and accomplished the service.
7 But into the second went the (B)high Priest alone, once every year, not without blood which he offered for himself, and for the [c]ignorances of the people.

5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(A) overshadowing the atonement cover.(B) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly(C) into the outer room to carry on their ministry. 7 But only the high priest entered(D) the inner room,(E) and that only once a year,(F) and never without blood,(G) which he offered for himself(H) and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(I)
