Hosea’s Wife and Children

The word of [a]Yahweh which came to (A)Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of (B)Uzziah, (C)Jotham, (D)Ahaz, and (E)Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of (F)Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

When Yahweh first spoke through Hosea, Yahweh said to Hosea, “(G)Go, take for yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for (H)the land commits flagrant harlotry, [b]forsaking Yahweh.”
