Hosea 5:7-9

7 They have transgressed against the Lord: for they have begotten [a]strange children: now shall [b]a month devour them with their portions.

8 Blow ye the trumpet in Gibeah, and the shame in Ramah: cry out at Beth Aven, after thee, O [c]Benjamin.

9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I caused to [d]know the truth.

    they give birth to illegitimate(B) children.
When they celebrate their New Moon feasts,(C)
    he will devour[a](D) their fields.

8 “Sound the trumpet(E) in Gibeah,(F)
    the horn in Ramah.(G)
Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven[b];(H)
    lead on, Benjamin.
9 Ephraim will be laid waste(I)
    on the day of reckoning.(J)
Among the tribes of Israel
    I proclaim what is certain.(K)
