Hosea 7:11

¹¹“Ephraim is like a dove,^(A)
easily deceived and senseless—
now calling to Egypt,^(B)
now turning to Assyria.^(C)

Hosea 7:11

¹¹Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

³They will not remain^(A) in the Lord’s land;
Ephraim will return to Egypt^(B)
and eat unclean food in Assyria.^(C)

³They shall not dwell in the Lord's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

⁵“Will they not return to Egypt^(A)
and will not Assyria^(B) rule over them
because they refuse to repent?^(C)

⁵He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
