Hosea 8:6-8

⁶ For it is from Israel;
a craftsman made it;
    it is not God.
^(A)The calf of Samaria
    ^(B)shall be broken to pieces.^[a]
7 For ^(C)they sow the wind,
    and they shall reap the whirlwind.
The standing corn has no heads;
    it shall yield no flour;
if it were to yield,
    ^(D)strangers would devour it.
^8 (E)Israel is swallowed up;
    already they are among the nations
    as ^(F)a useless vessel.
