Mourning for Babylon
47 “(A)Come down and sit in the dust,
(B)Virgin (C)daughter of Babylon;
Sit on the ground without a throne,
Daughter of the Chaldeans!
For you will no longer be called (D)tender and delicate.

30 “Therefore you shall prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them,
‘The (A)Lord will (B)roar from on high
And raise His voice from His holy dwelling;
He will roar forcefully against His [a]fold.
He will shout like those who tread the grapes,
Against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 A clamor has come to the end of the earth,
Because the Lord has (C)a controversy with the nations.
He is entering into (D)judgment with [b]humanity;
As for the wicked, He has turned them over to the sword,’ declares the Lord.”

shout against all who live on the earth.
31 The tumult(E) will resound to the ends of the earth,
for the Lord will bring charges(F) against the nations;

and put the wicked to the sword,(I)’”
