¹⁸ “Come now, and ^(A)let us ^[a]debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“^(B)Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.

4 ^(A)Listen to the word of the Lord, you sons of Israel,
Because the Lord has a ^(B)case against the inhabitants of the land,
For there is ^(C)no ^[a]faithfulness, nor ^[b]loyalty,
Nor ^(D)knowledge of God in the land.

² The Lord also has a ^(A)case against Judah,
And will punish Jacob ^(B)according to his ways;
He will repay him according to his deeds.
