28 But [a]transgressors and sinners will be (A)crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
29 Surely [b]you will be ashamed of the [c](B)oaks which you have desired,
And you will be embarrassed at the (C)gardens which you have chosen.
30 For you will be like an [d]oak whose (D)leaf fades away
Or as a garden that has no water.

29 “You will be ashamed(D) because of the sacred oaks(E)
    in which you have delighted;
you will be disgraced because of the gardens(F)
    that you have chosen.
30 You will be like an oak with fading leaves,(G)
    like a garden without water.
