² So as ^(A)to ^[a]deprive the needy of justice
And rob the poor among My people of their rights,
So ^(B)that widows may be their spoil
And that they may plunder the ^[b]orphans.

²⁸ They are ^(A)fat, they are sleek,
They also ^[a]excel in deeds of wickedness;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the ^[b](B)orphan, so that they may be successful;
And they do not ^[c]defend the rights of the poor.
