Isaiah 10:23-25
International Children’s Bible

23 The Master, the Lord of heaven’s armies, will certainly destroy this land.
    He will destroy it as he has announced.

24 This is what the Master, the Lord of heaven’s armies, says:

“My people living in Jerusalem,
    don’t be afraid of the Assyrians.
They beat you with a rod.
    They raise a stick to hurt you, as Egypt did.
25 But after a short time my anger will stop.
    Then I will turn my anger to destroying them.”

New International Version

23 The Lord, the Lord Almighty, will carry out
    the destruction decreed(A) upon the whole land.(B)

24 Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:

“My people who live in Zion,(C)
    do not be afraid(D) of the Assyrians,
who beat(E) you with a rod(F)
    and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did.
25 Very soon(G) my anger against you will end
    and my wrath(H) will be directed to their destruction.(I)”
