Isaiah 10:24-26
Living Bible

24 Therefore the Lord God says, “O my people in Jerusalem, don’t be afraid of the Assyrians when they oppress you just as the Egyptians did long ago. 25 It will not last very long; in a little while my anger against you will end, and then it will rise against them to destroy them.”

26 The Lord Almighty will send his angel to slay them in a mighty slaughter like the time when Gideon triumphed over Midian at the rock of Oreb or the time God drowned the Egyptian armies in the sea.

New International Version

24 Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:

“My people who live in Zion,(A)
    do not be afraid(B) of the Assyrians,
who beat(C) you with a rod(D)
    and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did.
25 Very soon(E) my anger against you will end
    and my wrath(F) will be directed to their destruction.(G)”

26 The Lord Almighty will lash(H) them with a whip,
    as when he struck down Midian(I) at the rock of Oreb;
and he will raise his staff(J) over the waters,(K)
    as he did in Egypt.
