6 The wolf will live with the lamb,(A)
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.(B)
8 The infant(C) will play near the cobra’s den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s(D) nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy(E)
on all my holy mountain,(F)
for the earth(G) will be filled with the knowledge(H) of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

7 If you remain in me(A) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(B) 8 This is to my Father’s glory,(C) that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.(D)
9 “As the Father has loved me,(E) so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands,(F) you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.(G) 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.(H) 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.(I) 14 You are my friends(J) if you do what I command.(K) 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.(L) 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you(M) so that you might go and bear fruit(N)—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.(O) 17 This is my command: Love each other.(P)

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
