9 None will harm or destroy another
on My entire holy mountain,
for the land will be as full
of the knowledge of the Lord
as the sea is filled with water.(A)
Israel Regathered
10 On that day the root of Jesse(B)
will stand as a banner for the peoples.(C)
The nations will seek Him,(D)
and His resting place will be glorious.(E)
11 On that day(F) the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover—from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west—the remnant of His people who survive.(G)

9 They will neither harm nor destroy(A)
on all my holy mountain,(B)
for the earth(C) will be filled with the knowledge(D) of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
10 In that day(E) the Root of Jesse(F) will stand as a banner(G) for the peoples; the nations(H) will rally to him,(I) and his resting place(J) will be glorious.(K) 11 In that day(L) the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant(M) of his people from Assyria,(N) from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt,(O) from Cush,[a](P) from Elam,(Q) from Babylonia,[b] from Hamath(R) and from the islands(S) of the Mediterranean.(T)
