9 They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Adonai,
as the waters cover the sea.

10 It will also come about in that day
that the root of Jesse will stand
as a banner for the peoples.[a]
The nations will seek for Him,
and His resting place will be glorious.[b]
11 It will also come about in that day that my Lord will again redeem—a second time with His hand—the remnant of His people who remain[c]
from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

10 In that day(E) the Root of Jesse(F) will stand as a banner(G) for the peoples; the nations(H) will rally to him,(I) and his resting place(J) will be glorious.(K) 11 In that day(L) the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant(M) of his people from Assyria,(N) from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt,(O) from Cush,[a](P) from Elam,(Q) from Babylonia,[b] from Hamath(R) and from the islands(S) of the Mediterranean.(T)
