12 Then you will say on that day,
“^(A)I will give thanks to You, O Lord;
For ^(B)although You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away,
And You comfort me.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will ^[a]find gladness and joy,
And ^(B)sorrow and sighing will flee away.

³ Indeed, ^(A)the Lord will comfort Zion;
He will comfort all her ^(B)waste places.
And her ^(C)wilderness He will make like ^(D)Eden,
And her desert like the ^(E)garden of the Lord;
^(F)Joy and gladness will be found in her,
Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.

“^(B)Give thanks to the Lord of hosts,
For the Lord is good,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting”;
