Isaiah 16:6-8

6 The people of Judah say, ‘We know how proud Moab's people are. We have heard how they boast about themselves. They think that they can do anything that they want. But all their pride is empty and useless!’
7 Because of their troubles, Moab's people weep. They are all very upset. They are sad because there are no more sweet raisins from Kir-Hareseth!
8 Yes, nothing grows in Heshbon's fields. There are no grapes on Sibmah's vines. The rulers of other nations have destroyed the vineyards. The branches of those vines reached as far as Jazer, and the desert. They even grew to go across the sea.[a]

New International Version
6 We have heard of Moab’s(A) pride(B)—
how great is her arrogance!—
of her conceit, her pride and her insolence;
but her boasts are empty.
7 Therefore the Moabites wail,(C)
they wail together for Moab.
Lament and grieve
for the raisin cakes(D) of Kir Hareseth.(E)
8 The fields of Heshbon(F) wither,(G)
the vines of Sibmah(H) also.
The rulers of the nations
have trampled down the choicest vines,(I)
which once reached Jazer(J)
and spread toward the desert.
Their shoots spread out(K)
and went as far as the sea.[a](L)
