Isaiah 17:8-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 He will not have regard for the (A)altars, the work of his hands,
Nor will he look to that which his (B)fingers have made,
Even the [a](C)Asherim and [b]incense stands.
9 In that day [c]their strong cities will be like [d]forsaken places in the forest,
Or like [e]branches which they abandoned before the sons of Israel;
And [f]the land will be a desolation.
10 For (D)you have forgotten the (E)God of your salvation
And have not remembered the (F)rock of your refuge.
Therefore you plant delightful plants
And set them with vine slips of a strange god.
