¹⁹ Men will ^(A)go into caves of the rocks
And into holes of the ^[a]ground
Before the terror of the Lord
And the splendor of His majesty,
When He arises ^(B)to make the earth tremble.

¹³ Therefore I will make the ^(A)heavens tremble,
And ^(B)the earth will be shaken from its place
At the fury of the Lord of hosts
In ^(C)the day of His burning anger.

^19 (A)The earth is broken asunder,
The earth is ^(B)split through,
The earth is shaken violently.
²⁰ The earth ^(C)reels to and fro like a drunkard
And it totters like a ^[a]shack,
For its ^(D)transgression is heavy upon it,
And it will fall, ^(E)never to rise again.

³² And every ^[a]blow of the ^[b](A)rod of punishment,
Which the Lord will lay on him,
Will be with the music of ^(B)tambourines and lyres;
And in battles, ^(C)brandishing weapons, He will fight them.

^9 (A)The land mourns and pines away,
^(B)Lebanon is shamed and withers;
^(C)Sharon is like a desert plain,
And Bashan and Carmel ^[a]lose their foliage.
