Isaiah 24:10-12
World English Bible

10 The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in. 11 There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The mirth of the land is gone. 12 The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.

New International Version

10 The ruined city(A) lies desolate;(B)
    the entrance to every house is barred.
11 In the streets they cry out(C) for wine;(D)
    all joy turns to gloom,(E)
    all joyful sounds are banished from the earth.
12 The city is left in ruins,(F)
    its gate(G) is battered to pieces.
