²¹So it will happen in that day,
That the Lord will ^(A)punish the host of ^[a]heaven on high,
And the ^(B)kings of the earth on earth.

²¹In that day^(A) the Lord will punish^(B)
the powers^(C) in the heavens above
and the kings^(D) on the earth below.

¹⁰“They ^(A)mock at kings
And rulers are a laughing matter to them.
They ^(B)laugh at every fortress
And ^(C)heap up rubble to capture it.

¹⁰They mock kings
and scoff at rulers.^(A)
They laugh at all fortified cities;
by building earthen ramps^(B) they capture them.
