Isaiah 24:5-6
New King James Version
5 (A)The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have (B)transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the (C)everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore (D)the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are [a]desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are (E)burned,
And few men are left.

Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned [under the curse of God’s wrath], and few people are left.(B)
