Isaiah 25:7-9
International Standard Version
7 And on this mountain,[a] he will swallow up
the burial[b] shroud that enfolds all peoples,
the veil that is spread over all nations—
8 he has swallowed up[c] death forever!
Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces,
and he will take away the disgrace of his people
from the entire earth.”
for the Lord has spoken.
9 “And you[d] will say at that time,[e]
‘Look! It’s the Lord![f] This is our God!
We waited for him,
and he saved us.
This is the Lord!
We waited for him,
so let us rejoice,
and we will[g] be glad that he has saved us.”

Isaiah 25:7-9
New International Version
7 On this mountain he will destroy
the shroud(A) that enfolds all peoples,(B)
the sheet that covers all nations;
8 he will swallow up death(C) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears(D)
from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace(E)
from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.(F)
9 In that day(G) they will say,
