Isaiah 26:17
New American Standard Bible
17 (A)As the pregnant woman approaches the time to give birth,
She writhes and cries out in her labor pains;
This is how we were before You, Lord.
Isaiah 26:17
New International Version
17 As a pregnant woman about to give birth(A)
writhes and cries out in her pain,
so were we in your presence, Lord.
Isaiah 66:6-9
New American Standard Bible
6 A sound of uproar from the city, a voice from the temple,
The voice of the Lord who is (A)dealing retribution to His enemies.
7 “Before she was in labor, (B)she delivered;
Before her pain came, (C)she gave birth to a boy.
8 (D)Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?
Can a land be [a]born in one day?
Can a nation be given birth all at once?
As soon as Zion was in labor, she also delivered her sons.
9 Shall I bring to the point of birth but (E)not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God.

- Isaiah 66:8 Lit born through labor-pains
Isaiah 66:6-9
New International Version
6 Hear that uproar from the city,
hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound(A) of the Lord
repaying(B) his enemies all they deserve.
7 “Before she goes into labor,(C)
she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
she delivers a son.(D)
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen(E) things like this?
Can a country be born in a day(F)
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.(G)
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth(H)
and not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Do I close up the womb
when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
Micah 4:9-13
New American Standard Bible
9 “Now, why do you (A)cry out loudly?
Is there no king among you,
Or has your (B)counselor perished,
That agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth?
10 (C)Writhe and scream,
Daughter of Zion,
Like a woman in childbirth;
For now you will (D)go out of the city,
Live in the field,
And go to Babylon.
(E)There you will be rescued,
(F)There the Lord will redeem you
From the hand of your enemies.
11 And now (G)many nations have been assembled against you
Who say, ‘Let her be defiled,
And let our eyes [a]gloat over Zion!’
12 But they do not (H)know the thoughts of the Lord,
And they do not understand His plan;
For He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
13 Arise and (I)thresh, daughter of Zion,
For I will make your horn iron,
And I will make your hoofs bronze,
So that you may (J)pulverize many peoples,
And (K)dedicate to the Lord their unjust profit,
And their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

Micah 4:9-13
New International Version
9 Why do you now cry aloud—
have you no king[a](A)?
Has your ruler[b] perished,
that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?(B)
10 Writhe in agony, Daughter Zion,
like a woman in labor,
for now you must leave the city
to camp in the open field.
You will go to Babylon;(C)
there you will be rescued.
There the Lord will redeem(D) you
out of the hand of your enemies.
11 But now many nations
are gathered against you.
They say, “Let her be defiled,
let our eyes gloat(E) over Zion!”
12 But they do not know
the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,(F)
that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
13 “Rise and thresh,(G) Daughter Zion,
for I will give you horns of iron;
I will give you hooves of bronze,
and you will break to pieces many nations.”(H)
You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the Lord,(I)
their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
