Isaiah 26:8-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 Indeed, while following the way of (A)Your judgments, O Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
(B)Your name, even Your (C)memory, is the desire of our souls.
9 (D)At night [a]my soul longs for You,
Indeed, [b]my spirit within me (E)seeks You diligently;
For when the earth [c]experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world (F)learn righteousness.
10 Though the wicked is shown favor,
He does not (G)learn righteousness;
He (H)deals unjustly in the land of uprightness,
And does not perceive the majesty of the Lord.
