¹²Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:

“Because you ^(A)despise this word,
And trust in oppression and perversity,
And rely on them,

and depended on deceit,

⁴^(A)Do not trust in these lying words, saying, ‘The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these.’

⁴Do not trust^(A) in deceptive^(B) words and say, “This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!”
